Community Rules
To maintain a trusted and safe marketplace, all users must adhere to our core conduct guidelines. Read the five golden rules below — they are the most important. The full detailed rulebook follows underneath.

Be honest.
Every listing must accurately describe the item. Misleading descriptions cost you points and can get the listing pulled.
No prohibited items.
Weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen property, and anything illegal are strictly forbidden — instant permanent ban, no exceptions.
One account per person.
Multiple accounts used to manipulate points, likes, or bids are not allowed.
No harassment.
Abusive language, threats, or discrimination in chat or on profiles will not be tolerated.
Honor your bids and your wins.
Bids are final, and winners are expected to follow through. Both bidding you don't mean and ghosting after a win carry real penalties — see the full rulebook below.

Bid seriously.
"Joy-bidding" — when a winning bidder goes silent and fails to complete the trade — is treated as Trade Ghosting (D5, 20 demerit points). See the Trade Completion & Anti-Ghosting section below.
No bid manipulation.
Using alternate accounts, or colluding with someone else, to artificially drive up a price is prohibited and treated as a serious violation.
Anti-sniping is a feature, not a bug.
A bid in the final 60 seconds extends the timer by 30 seconds. This applies to everyone equally.
10-second grace period for typo corrections.
After placing a bid, a 10-second undo window lets you correct typos — tap the ✕ to retract with no penalty. After 10 seconds, the bid is final. You get 3 grace retractions per listing and 5 per day total.
Listing cancellations have their own rules.
Cancelling a listing follows a specific set of conditions based on bid activity, account tier, and time remaining — see the "Listing Cancellation" category below for the full breakdown.
Items lock at acceptance, not at offer.
You can offer the same item to multiple auctions. The lock only triggers when a seller clicks [Accept Swap] — at that point the offered items become reserved for that trade and cannot be offered elsewhere.
Swap selections are limited.
You get 3 free swap selections per week (the week runs Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59, Malaysia time). Every selection from the 4th onward in the same week triggers a "Swap Selection Spam" demerit (10 points each).
Swap offers can be withdrawn, with limits.
You can withdraw a swap offer for free within 10 minutes of placing it. After that, each withdrawal counts toward your 3 free daily retractions (shared with cash bid retractions). Withdrawals are blocked in the final hour of a listing.
18 hours to choose an outcome.
Sellers must select the winning outcome (cash / swap / swap+cash) within 18 hours of the auction ending.
72 hours to complete the trade, confirmed by PIN.
Once an outcome is chosen, both parties have 72 hours to finish the exchange. The system generates a 6-digit PIN once the seller picks the outcome; the buyer is shown the PIN and a QR code; the seller enters the PIN to confirm the trade.
Runner-up window opens automatically, 48 hours after the auction ends.
This is purely time-based — it does not require the winner to fully ghost through the 72-hour window or explicitly decline first. Once the 48-hour mark passes, the seller can manually offer the item to the next highest bidder one at a time; this is a separate, independent option from the ghosting demerit below.
Ghosting is a demerit offense.
Failing to respond or follow through on a confirmed trade — from either side — can be reported once the 72-hour response window lapses with no action, and carries a 20-point demerit ("Trade Ghosting") once confirmed.
Merit points are earned, never bought.
They reflect real activity — bidding, selling, completing trades, and being a good community member.
Demerits are the flip side.

Demerits decay over time.
You lose 5 demerit points per week automatically (the counter resets each Monday), checked at login — so an isolated mistake fades, but repeat violations stack.
Every window runs on Malaysia time.
Weekly and daily limits — swap selections, bid and offer retractions, and demerit decay — all reset on the Malaysian clock (MYT).

Report what you see.
Use the Report button on a listing, chat, or profile if something breaks these rules.
Valid reports are rewarded.
Confirmed reports earn +15 points for the reporter (up to 2/week, Hunter rank required). For provable violations the offender also loses 15 points as a penalty — you're helping keep the marketplace trustworthy. Ghosting is the exception: without escrow it cannot be proven, so it carries the D5 demerit but no merit penalty.
Reports are reviewed by real moderators.
Expect a decision within 48 hours of submitting.
Free cancel with 0 bids.
If a listing has no bids yet, the seller can cancel it instantly, with no penalty.
No cancelling once there are bids.
Once a listing has a bid, it can no longer be cancelled. The bids stand and the auction runs to its end — that is what makes a bid meaningful to the people placing one.
Only during the handshake phase.
Mutual cancellation is only available after the seller has chosen an outcome (cash or swap) and the 72-hour trade window is open — and before either side completes the handshake PIN. It cannot be used during the active auction, during the outcome-selection window, or after the trade is confirmed with the PIN.
Either party can initiate, both must agree.
The seller OR the buyer/swap partner can send a cancellation request. The other party must explicitly accept it for the deal to dissolve. If they decline, the deal stays active and the trade window continues as normal. One side cannot force a cancellation on the other.
Available any time the trade window is open.
There is no lockout period. Mutual cancellation can be requested at any point while the 72-hour trade window is open — including the final minutes — until either side completes the handshake PIN. It is the escape hatch for parties who cannot meet inside the window and would rather reschedule and settle the deal outside BidSwap than let the trade auto-complete.
Keep talking for 7 days after cancelling.
Because the two of you still have to arrange your own meetup, the private chat between you — and only you two — stays open for 7 days after the deal is dissolved. The wider post-auction audience (top bidders, other swap offerers) loses access the moment the deal is cancelled. After the 7 days the thread goes read-only.
Limits prevent abuse.
You can have at most 3 pending mutual cancellation requests across all your deals at once. Completed mutual cancellations are also capped at 3 in a rolling 30-day window — with both parties counting toward the rate limit, though your profile only displays cancellations you initiated.
No demerits — only the listing award is returned.
Mutual cancellation adds no demerit points for either party and does not affect rank. The one merit adjustment is that the seller's +10 award for listing the item is clawed back, so a cancelled listing leaves no net merit gain behind; the buyer/swap partner loses nothing. Swap items that were reserved for the deal are immediately freed back to active status so they can be offered elsewhere.
Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Once you confirm, all listings are cancelled, your messages and reviews are anonymised to "[Deleted User]", and your merit points, rank, watchlist, and uploaded images are permanently purged. There is no recovery and no undo.
Restricted accounts cannot self-delete.
If your account is banned or currently suspended, the delete function is blocked. You must resolve the restriction or submit a Feedback ticket to request manual deletion.
Re-registration is allowed.
Deleting your account removes you from the authentication server, so you can sign up again later with the same email if you choose to return.
